Production Process

1、          Making Board:

Making a wooden frame first,brust the emulsion on it,then paste the same size 5cm fireboard on the front and 3cm fireboard on the back,fix them with nails,press the both sides of the board for 12 hours,finally pull out the nails.The board is finished.

2、Put on pig-blood lime

It’s our ancient traditional technology.It was widely used on the doors of the palace and the other wooden furniture.

The process is: put on a layer of pig-blood lime(made from fresh pig blood and lime).After dring,put on another layer of pig-blood lime(including coal cinder).When it is dry enough we rub it with sand paper,spray base paint and white paint (This process must be done in hatches since the frest pig blood can’t leave for a long time)

3、Carving

The carving knives are made by ourselves.We draw on the white board first,then the workers carve according to the patterns.We carve twice for each line.One faces left,while the other faces right.

4、Scraping

To scrape the layer (including coal cinder) in order to make the surface uneven and strengthen the vision effects.The thickness is around 1-2mm.

5、Washing Board

Brush the board in the water using a hard brush so as to brush out the loose blood lime.

6、Mending

It’s the process following carving and scraping.Fill the holes and uneven surface with the blood lime and

7、Making vein effects

Staining the foam with blood lime, then put it on the board.It can make the surface has a rough character.

8、Sticking foil

Some patterns need the metal effects to make the decoration more bright,so we stick copper or aluminium foil before spraying the surface paint.If necessary.we’ll color the different oil paints on the foil.

9、Coloring

When everything is finished we spray the paint on the surface, staining the foam with material of oils, pat it on the patterns gently till the color is well distributed , then wipe out the color outside the pattern, Spraying the paint to fix the material of oils. coloring and spraying again and again.

10、Finally useing a brush to paint the edge.

11、Characters:

u     This kind of paintings is easy to match the other materials indoor because it has so many decorative elements.

u     It is colorfast and won’t fade so it can be wiped by wet cloth with some detergeut.

12、Notes:

u     Our products are available to the little wet climate,but aren’t suitable for the areas where temperature varies greatly.

u     Not fit for being hung outdoors.

u     Avoid washing or soaking in water.
